The Ship Inn's owners John and Michele have
extensive knowledge in the seafood industry,
Michele worked for the biggest seafood company
in Europe and John has had over 30 years of sea-going knowledge as a skipper of his own vessels.
With head chef Carl Gabbitas and chef Patrick
Kireja this makes the Ship Inn the ideal
place to try
some local quality fish and
English style dishes.

chefs change on a regular basis, especially our fish
dishes of which we try to always source locally'.
The Ship Inn was in the National Seafood Pub of the Year Competition 2007 run by the Seafish Industry Authority, although not achieving first place we can be pleased with being the only English pub nominated in the final.
